Content pulled from the web with the tags acrl2013, acrl13, or acrl 2013.

This is an experiment in gathering the online content from the Association of College and Research Libraries 2013 conference. It’s based on the George Mason University Center for History and New Media’s effort to create an aggregated conference proceedings for the 2012 Museum Computer Network conference.

This site pulls content from Twitter, Flickr, Instagram, Youtube, and Slideshare that use the tags acrl2013 or acrl13. Additionally, I’ve created a Google alert for “acrl 2013″ and use the WordPress Press This feature to include content from the rest of the web about the conference and social events not listed in the conference schedule.

For the social networking sites mentioned above, I’ve used these sites’ APIs to pull content (and then the WordPress Syndication plugin to publish it here). For those interested, here are the feeds:
